Reimbursement for attendance to State and National Meetings

 

Reimbursement for New York State Board of Directors Meetings

The RRRS will reimburse delegates from the RRRS to the NYSRS and Councilors and Alternate Councilors for the State Chapter to the ACR up to $250 per meeting for attending the biannual member meetings of the NYSRS.  Members of the New York State Radiological Society Executive Committee are reimbursed by the NYSRS.

 

Reimbursement for Councilors and Alternate Councilors for the Annual ACR Meeting is as follows:

COUNCILORS AT LARGE

The NYSRS will reimburse those who are asked to stay Saturday, Sunday, and Monday for a Tuesday departure up to $1200 of qualifying expenses.  For those asked to attend the Capitol Hill visits reimbursement will be up to $1500.

 

DISTRICT COUNCILORS

The RRRS will reimburse qualifying expenses as set forth above for councilors at large.

 

ALTERNATE COUNCILORS AT LARGE

The NYSRS will reimburse qualifying expenses up to $500 for attending the ACR Meeting.  After the NYSRS has met its obligation, the RRRS will reimburse remaining amount  up to $500.

 

DISTRICT ALTERNATE COUNCILORS

The NYSRS will not reimburse these alternate councilors for attending the ACR Meeting.  The RRRS will reimburse up to $1000 for qualifying expenses.

 

Examples of qualifying expenses are hotel accommodations from night before the meeting begins through the night before the meeting ends, transportation to and from the meeting, meals for ACR member that are not provided for at the meeting (breakfast and lunch are served most days, and there are several dinner receptions), and parking at airport.

 

Examples of non-qualifying expenses are hotel accommodation before or after the meeting, car rental,  parking at the meeting (if you flew), spouse’s meals, tips, meals where food is provided at the meeting, and the CME courses or additional voluntary programs.
